A profile can, however be used for malicious purposes as well. A profile that lives on the phone will give that ability. For example, a person works for Wells Fargo and that bank decides to send a new app out to all the employees that have been issued phones. A profile is a file that can be installed on a phone that gives industries like banking, medical, etc… the ability to monitor and control the phone over the internet.
